PURPOSE OF POSITION: Coordinate the ABC **Apply on the website** Years

The ABC **Apply on the website** Years Programme?aims to provide an
integrated programme of intervention and support for children, their
parents and families from pre-birth to two years of age. The
programmes main focus is a home visiting service?to offer
intervention and support for children, their parents and
families.?The programme aims to improve children's overall
development through the empowerment of parents, and is designed to
focus on nutrition, health care, and overall child development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Coordinate the ABC **Apply on the website** Years Home Visiting
Programme including supervising?and supporting?home?visiting staff.
* To recruit, hire, train and induct new?home?visiting staff.
* Mentoring and coaching new and existing home visiting staff
* To plan and?assist with?ongoing?Home Visitor?training.
* Undertake home visits for own programme families (caseload of

* To order stock and?organise?deliveries of books and toys.
* To recruit, interview?and select?families to participate in the
programme.
* Liaise with PHN, Tusla, Maternity Hospitals, PCHP, CES, Pobal and
other statutory and voluntary bodies around the development of the ABC
**Apply on the website** Years Programme and opportunities for shared
learning and collaboration
* To?assist with the?management of?the **Apply on the website**
programme?budget and accounts.
* Support the ABC Senior **Apply on the website** Home Visiting
Programme Coordinator in ongoing programme development
* Deputise for the ABC Senior **Apply on the website** Home Visiting
Programme Coordinator when required.
* Organise?and implement?events for the programme families in
conjunction with other Home Visiting and Parent Support team members.
* To organise, plan and post on ELI?s social media platforms.
* Prepare and maintain records, reports and/or test data on the
programme and participating children.
* Participate in research activities.
* Use an interagency approach to address challenges faced by
families, attend and lead?Meitheals?for programme families in
addition to attending case conferences where?required
* Any other duties as assigned by the?ABC Senior **Apply on the
website** Home Visiting Programme Coordinator, ELI Director or
Assistant Director.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Relevant 3rd level qualification (preferably a degree in a relevant
field)
* Relevant experience of working with children, young people,
families and statutory agencies preferably on an early years home
visiting programme
* Ability to work with marginalised families and have an
understanding of the issues of marginalisation
* Excellent administrative and?organisational?skills
* Excellent IT skills in?Ms?Excel?Ms?Word and other relevant
research packages etc.
* Professional interest in early years education
and?family-based?learning.
* Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
* Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of College
personnel, statutory, community and corporate stakeholders and other
outside individuals/organisations
* Flexible approach to work as evening and weekend work may be
required
* Ability to operate as a team player in a cross disciplinary,
integrated team, sharing roles and responsibilities
* An energetic, confident and pro-active individual with strong
interpersonal and communication skills
* Good time management skills with the ability to produce results to
deadlines.
